On our way

After a hectic week closing out everything in Oakland, including trying to get everything packed into storage, donated, or thrown out; getting my purse stolen at the library; the kids saying goodbye at school; and saying goodbye to friends, we were on the road.

First stop: Tahoe City, where we spent 4 nights with Carl's parents. The weather was appropriately spring-like, and it rained the whole time we were there. Misty and light, but rain nonetheless. We visited the Children's Museum in Truckee for the first time, to have something else to do besides just stay inside the condo.

The time in Tahoe went very quickly, and before we knew it, it was time to say goodbye to Gramma and Grampa, and hit the road for our trip to Indiana.
