Here's a picture of a recent memory verse Erik wrote out. He had struggled with passing this section in Awana for 3 weeks in a row. I knew that he could say the verse, but either he didn't believe it, or he was too distracted. Either way, we asked him to write the verse (from memory, not copying it) to help him learn it. He did, and did it well!

This is so sweet. I am working on tracing letters w/ Sydney, but she refuses to try them on her own yet. I can't wait to see her write her name for the first time.
