Lawrence Hall of Science

We haven't been to the Lawrence Hall of Science in a long time--in museum time, I think it was at least 2 traveling exhibits ago. Carl and I woke up feeling the need to get out of the house, though, so we decided to go.

There was a brand-new exhibit that day, about speed, which was great fun. The boys had a great time, and played for hours. Normally we go to museums for 2 hours, 3 at the most (including lunch), but we were there for 5 hours. The boys still weren't ready to leave, but Carl and I were both sick and were barely able to stand upright at that point, so we decided to leave. Not to mention that Saturday is our day to eat out, and we had to make it all the way to In'N'Out for dinner before getting early-to-bed Anders in bed for the night.

A beautiful day for a beautiful view

Playing with the blocks

Grampa was able to meet us there (and through a great series of events even got us a free pass!) and had a great time building a block tower... for Anders. Of course it was for Anders, right?

Anders looks like an art critic in this picture

Grampa also had great fun with the Kapla blocks. This was most certainly not for Anders, though. :)

CeeCee had the most fun playing with the triangle mirror, and observing her many images
