After a late night drive home from Lake Tahoe, E. was ready for his first day of first grade!
We enjoyed our first walk of the school year together--it's a great time in the morning for our family.
My camera battery died on the way to school, so no pictures in the classroom. He was, in typical fashion, completely ready to say goodbye to us, so we left him in the line up outside and sat down for some coffee with the other parents.
He has a new teacher this year, which he took in stride with little difficulty, even as much as he loved his teacher last year. His first day report was "we didn't have much time to play, because we had to keep learning what to do!" but that he enjoyed it a lot. He's excited to be one of the big first graders now in the K/1 class.
