June 12th--best friends and birthdays

My birthday celebration continued on Tuesday night as I went out for dinner with Andrea and Allie. We see each other so often, but so seldom without our kids, and it's so much fun to spend time together just talking with no distractions. We enjoyed dinner at a great restaurant in Alameda, and spent 3 hours talking and eating and enjoying each other's company. What a wonderful birthday present!
