April 7th--Candy Day!

In order to draw a distinction between Easter and candy, this year we decided to have the kids have all their candy on Saturday. It's also helpful since Sunday mornings are always a bit busy around here.

Here are the boys, digging in to their baskets from Grandma Barb and Grandpa Rick:

We really did let them eat as much candy as they wanted--they had lots of mini M&Ms, Legos fruit snacks, gummi bears, and one roll of smarties (called "smarts" by Anders). I didn't count how many packages they had of M&Ms (Grandma might know!)... but they ate it all. Yes, all of their candy, except for a few gummi bears. It was wonderful to be able to call legos fruit snacks "candy", though. And the boys had a great time.

I also have some pictures of Anders playing in his frog--a basket from Grandma and Grandpa for Christmas. It is used as toy storage, but occasionally Anders loves to play inside of it.





We were thinking about doing an egg hunt in the community, but it was dreary and a little rainy, so we decided to skip it. We did go shopping to get me an Easter dress--the boys were much better today at shopping than they were last week shopping for their Easter clothes.
