He woke up as normal, and we had a fairly normal morning. I made the boys pancakes, which excited Anders, too.
Getting a boy ready for school--at least this boy--is relatively easy. He picked out one of his planet shirts, put on some shorts, and was ready to go.
We all walked together for the first day.
Our walking sticks from the playdate were still where we left them. Apart from Anders having some difficulty, it was an easy walk.
When we got there, Erik was quickly in the door, and I forgot to change my camera settings. It was also crowded with parents. Erik, of course, had no difficulty saying goodbye. I will try to get a few pictures of the classroom in a few days.
Signing in, a daily ritual for their class. Today they just wrote their name, but every day there's a different question to answer.
His teacher
Next to his cubby, which he got to pick.
And ready to go, stopping at the table with floam first
He was excited to see us when we picked him up. His day is from 8:30-2. Anders was really excited to see him.
He had a great day, but he was definitely tired.
It doesn't quite do it justice, but a picture of the big hill, about halfway up.
